February meeting is an Open House!  We welcome anyone interested in learning more about MAGC and planted aquaria!  We’ll provide information on how to get started, answer your questions, invite you to check out books from our lending library, and help you select plants donated by club members for use in your aquarium. Plants are free, although we occasionally invite folks to provide cash donations to help the club purchase new library books, print informational materials, etc.

Welcome
Madison Aquarium Gardeners Club members exchange ideas about freshwater planted aquaria. This is where beginners get a good start and experienced hobbyists share their expertise. A good mix.

We're pretty informal and generally have an attendance of around 12 to 16. No dues. We are supported by a development grant, but always welcome voluntary contributions to help build our lending library.

We meet monthly, unless otherwise noticed, gathering at Science House, a quaint white and yellow painted old frame structure in the center of the University of Wisconsin Madison Campus. At times, we have special presentations. Our Q & A forum is stimulating. Folks can check out titles from the club's library. The free plant exchange table is where we can bring in some of our surplus and take home species of interest.
